Iran vowed on Sunday to rebuild nuclear sites damaged in Israeli and US attacks “even stronger than before,” as Oman pressed Tehran and Washington to revive their stalled diplomatic dialogue.

Despite US President Donald Trump’s claims that the strikes destroyed Iran’s nuclear capabilities, the actual extent of the damage remains uncertain.

President Masoud Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran’s determination to restore all affected facilities, repeating assurances he gave prior to the attacks.

Israel’s June bombing campaign, which spanned 12 days, struck Iran’s nuclear and military sites, killing top scientists and damaging residential areas. Iran retaliated with ballistic missile barrages aimed at Israeli cities.

In July, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi acknowledged that the destruction was “significant and severe.”

Oman’s government said Tehran has received new diplomatic messages as part of ongoing mediation, though details remain undisclosed.

The Gulf nation previously hosted five rounds of indirect US-Iran negotiations, with the sixth suspended just before Israel’s strikes. In parallel, the UK, France, and Germany reimposed UN sanctions on Iran under the “snapback” clause for breaching the 2015 nuclear accord.
