Germany’s Avilus has revealed a fresh lineup of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) designed to bolster capabilities in areas such as long-distance reconnaissance, field medical response, and rapid tactical deployment. The company’s latest innovation targets growing demand for versatile, mission-adaptive drone platforms.

The flagship model, Bossard, is built for endurance missions and can fly up to 2,500 kilometers, making it suitable for border surveillance and coastal defense. Integrated with PrescICR radar and an electro-optical imaging suite, it provides continuous situational awareness—even in adverse weather conditions or limited visibility scenarios.

Another standout, the Grille, offers agile support in field operations. It travels at speeds of up to 80 km/h and features interchangeable battery modules, streamlining operational logistics. Additionally, its redundant parachute deployment system enhances safety during malfunction or low-altitude issues, making it highly reliable for rescue and resupply tasks.

Avilus’s UAV expansion highlights the growing emphasis on UAV flexibility, operational range, and emergency readiness in both civilian and defense sectors.
