A locally created undersea sea mine has been tested by the Indian Navy and the country’s Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). The Multi-Influence Ground Mine was created to improve the navy’s defenses against contemporary submarines and stealth ships.It has sensors that detect underwater electric potential/extra low frequency electric field signatures produced by vessels, as well as acoustic, magnetic, and pressure signatures.
