In an effort to improve the Swedish Air Force’s ground target capabilities, Sweden has negotiated with Rheinmetall to purchase Mk82 bombs for its Gripen aircraft. Delivery of the order, which is worth over 100 million Swedish kronor ($9 million), is planned for this year’s second quarter.The Jas 39 Gripen C/D and E aircraft can be used with the Mk82.
