Spain has reached a final agreement with the NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency (NETMA), alongside German contractors, to procure 25 additional Eurofighter aircraft under the Halcon II program. This batch will include 21 single-seat and 4 twin-seat jets and is intended to replace older F-18 fighters in the Spanish Air Force. It follows a previous 2022 order of 20 aircraft, bringing the country’s total Eurofighter fleet to 115. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2030, further reinforcing Spain’s air defense capabilities.
