Saab has finalized a framework agreement with Sabena technics, a French provider of aircraft maintenance and modification services, for work on Saab’s GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft.
The long-term deal is intended to serve as the foundation for future business between the companies, focusing on complex aircraft modifications and related support for GlobalEye.
GlobalEye represents Saab’s sophisticated multi-domain AEW&C capability, built on Bombardier’s Global 6000/6500 business jets. Converting these jets into GlobalEye platforms involves extensive, technically intricate work that requires a highly skilled and committed workforce.
