Pratt & Whitney, an RTX subsidiary, has secured a $1.5 billion contract to maintain the engines of the US Air Force’s F-22 Raptor stealth fighter jet.The company will endeavor to lower the expenses and increase readiness of over 400 F119 engines with over 900,000 flying hours that are part of the service’s Raptor aircraft throughout the course of the three-year agreement.
