In accordance with a 2021 contract, Lockheed Martin has supplied the Polish Armed Forces with the last two S-70i medium transport/utility helicopters. Under the direction of Lockheed’s Polish division PZL Mielec, the transfer formally closed the agreement for four units to be delivered to the military. These units are all based on the initial version of the US Army’s well-proven UH-60M Black Hawk system. According to Lockheed, the first S-70i aircraft delivered to Warsaw were equipped with capabilities proved for a reaction mission to deal with the recent floods in the southern part of the country.a
