RTX’s Raytheon division has introduced a new high-definition targeting system, the MTS-A-HD, designed to give US Navy helicopter crews clearer visuals and faster targeting capabilities in combat zones. The system enhances situational awareness, particularly in complex maritime missions.

As the newest member of Raytheon’s long-established Multispectral Targeting System family, MTS-A-HD stands out for its high-resolution imaging and advanced targeting functionality. It is built to adapt to the evolving operational demands of naval aviation.

The system’s modular design makes it easy to install on current aircraft or upgrade existing systems. With over 400 Navy helicopters already using MTS technology, the MTS-A-HD is expected to significantly boost fleet-wide capabilities while maintaining upgrade efficiency.
