Two additional lots of F-35 Joint Strike Fighters have been agreed to in a handshake between the Pentagon and Lockheed Martin.According to a joint announcement from the F-35 Joint Program Office and Lockheed, the first deal would cover manufacture of lots 18 and 19 of the stealth fighter’s air vehicle.According to the JPO and Lockheed, they are now working out the specifics of the agreement and will make an announcement once it is formally signed about the number of F-35s covered and their price.
