Concept designs for Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) that will be utilized in tandem with Japan’s next-generation fighter jet have been shown by Japanese defense contractor Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI).At the International Aerospace Exhibition, the contractor showcased the concept designs, which were created as part of MHI’s AI-enabled Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) concept. Two distinct versions were introduced by MHI: a “tactical combat variant” and a “expendable ISR variant.”
