Following the completion of its preliminary and draft design stages, Russia’s new NV.17 hybrid helicopter is now in the technical design phase. The medium-class helicopter, created by Heliburo, is intended for a variety of uses, such as fire support, passenger transport, and freight transportation. In 2027, Russia intends to fly the helicopter for the first time.
