Hungary has begun receiving its order of L-39 Skyfox trainer jets, with three aircraft delivered by Aero Vodochody to Kecskemét Air Base. These jets are the first installment of a 12-unit deal aimed at boosting Hungary’s pilot training capabilities.
The aircraft will be integrated into the 101st Tactical Training Squadron of the Vitéz Szentgyörgyi Dezső Aviation Brigade, while also contributing to Hungary’s participation in NATO’s multinational pilot training framework. To support full integration, Aero is providing ground systems, simulators, and comprehensive training for Hungarian air crews.
