The UK Ministry of Defence has announced the delivery of five more Raven air defense systems to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This move will raise Ukraine’s total number of Ravens to 13 and is part of the UK’s “Kindred” initiative, aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s national defense through existing stockpiles and fast-track procurement, in response to ongoing Russian aggression. The initial batch of Ravens, along with nearly 150 surface-to-air missiles, was supplied by Britain in 2023.
