Bell Textron Inc., part of Textron Inc., revealed at the Paris Air Show 2025 that the Tunisian Air Force has signed a contract for 12 SUBARU Bell 412EPX helicopters, marking the first regional acquisition of this model. These helicopters will be used for a wide range of military and security missions. Tunisia’s rotary-wing fleet now grows beyond 39 Bell platforms, which already includes Bell UH-1s, 205s, and OH-58s.

Globally recognized for its reliability and mission versatility, the Bell 412 is widely used in parapublic and military roles, representing over 54% of its worldwide operations. Recent operators include the Japan Coast Guard and several interior ministries across Europe.

The SUBARU Bell 412EPX delivers enhanced mission capability with a maximum external weight of 13,000 lbs, 5,000 lb cargo hook capacity, and a useful load of 5,385 lbs, making it a reliable platform for critical, high-demand missions.
