Bell Boeing’s Joint Program Office has been given a contract by the US Department of Defense to provide the navy with CMV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft. Five systems for the service must be produced and delivered under the terms of the $590 million deal, with the majority of the work to be completed in Fort Worth, Texas.The project is anticipated to be finished by January 2028 and will be coordinated with the Naval Air Systems Command located in Patuxent River, Maryland.
