A NATO AWACS surveillance aircraft carried out its first operational mission within Finland’s airspace, supporting monitoring and coordination activities across the northern region. Eight Finnish F/A-18 fighter jets took part in a training exercise under the guidance of the AWACS aircraft. The mission helped strengthen interoperability between NATO forces and Finland’s air control infrastructure.
