HENSOLDT has installed the first TRL-4D LR radar system in northern Germany as part of the German Air Force’s effort to modernize its air surveillance network. Using advanced AESA radar technology, the system is designed to improve long-range tracking and national airspace monitoring capabilities. The deployment reflects Germany’s wider push to strengthen air defense infrastructure and situational awareness in response to growing security challenges across Europe.
