The Simulator Development Division has created a high-fidelity multi-user virtual reality system for urban-warfare and tactical training. The platform is intended to provide security and military personnel with realistic, repeatable, and measurable exercises without exposing trainees to the risks of live operational environments.Multiple users can participate simultaneously, enabling teams to rehearse coordinated movements and responses in complex virtual settings. This allows personnel to repeatedly practice high-risk scenarios before applying those skills in real-world situations.Available training environments include close-quarter engagements, room and building-clearing drills, rooftop operations, rural insertion scenarios, and kill-house exercises. Virtual environments can be modified through AI-controlled hostile and civilian characters, variable weather, and different lighting conditions. The system also incorporates instrumented weapon peripherals, detailed ballistic calculations, and real-time instructor monitoring. These functions allow trainers to measure shooting performance, communication, tactical coordination, and overall team effectiveness.By merging traditional tactical exercises with immersive digital simulation, the platform can support improved readiness and faster decision-making. Its scalable design makes it suitable for high-frequency training while reducing the cost, time, and logistical burden associated with repeated physical exercises.
