The Australian Army is strengthening its drone capabilities by introducing FPV attack drone training for its personnel. Soldiers are being trained to build, modify, and operate drones under a specialized course conducted in Victoria. This follows earlier training focused on reconnaissance drones. Inspired by the use of drones in the Ukraine war, the program aims to improve battlefield effectiveness using affordable and versatile drone systems. The initiative ensures troops can apply these skills in real combat scenarios.
