Thales has debuted its Panoramic Night Vision Goggle system, purpose-engineered to aid special operators in navigation, targeting, and maneuvering in zero-light or restricted-light situations. Unlike traditional goggles that constrain viewing angles, this solution uses a four-tube configuration to extend peripheral awareness.

This broader field of view allows combatants to react and interpret threats faster in fast-moving engagements. At under 1.6 pounds, the platform avoids the neck fatigue often associated with heavier panoramic NVGs and does not add bulk to the helmet silhouette.

Deployed at special ops demonstrations in Martignas-sur-Jalle, the goggle showcases Thales’s commitment to low-light dominance and mission customizability, prioritizing eyes-forward combat parity by combining enhanced optics with operational practicality.
