A $510 million military sale to Israel has received approval from the U.S. State Department, covering bomb guidance systems and related support, as confirmed by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). The proposed sale is intended to replenish Israel’s arsenal following its extensive use of munitions during recent operations against Iran.

DSCA stated that the equipment will bolster Israel’s ability to respond to evolving threats and reinforce the defense of critical national assets. It further affirmed that aiding Israel in maintaining a capable defense aligns with core U.S. strategic interests.

While the State Department has cleared the transaction, congressional approval is still required before finalization.

The announcement follows Israel’s targeted aerial campaign on June 13 against Iranian nuclear infrastructure and military leadership. The operation was part of broader efforts to curb Iran’s nuclear program, which remains a point of international contention.
