Gentex Corporation has introduced the LX9™ Liner System, engineered to enhance helmet comfort and modularity for soldiers in the field. This new insert features nine adjustable EPP and comfort foam pads, tailored for improved fit, airflow, and stability, particularly with the addition of a redesigned brow pad. The LX9 is suited for ACH, ECH, and NG-IHPS helmets and can be adjusted using current helmet Velcro attachment points. Over 18,000 units have been ordered by the US Army for 2025 deployment. Its lightweight build and compatibility with communication systems make it ideal for prolonged missions.
