The US Coast Guard has awarded MSA Safety a $33 million contract to provide innovative respiratory protection systems.The project will provide the service’s operational surface fleet and support facilities with the Pennsylvania-based company’s exclusive G1 Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment.According to the company, a $22 million initial order was already placed in the third quarter of this year to manufacture the equipment.
