Data analytics and AI firm Palantir has landed a massive contract with the US Army, worth up to $10 billion over ten years. The deal, announced Thursday, streamlines multiple smaller agreements into a single enterprise-level arrangement.
Palantir’s client base includes the US government, global banks, hospitals, and even the Israeli military. The company’s growing influence highlights its role as a key tech player in defense and intelligence.
Founded by Peter Thiel and others with early support from the CIA, Palantir has become a top contractor for national security. The first quarter of this year saw a dramatic rise in federal revenue, reaching $373 million—up 45% year over year.
The company’s federal engagements extend beyond defense: US immigration authorities also awarded Palantir a $30 million project to create a platform for monitoring visa compliance and deportation activities.
