Spanish defense firm Indra has completed successful trials of its Nemus AESA radar integrated onto Leopard main battle tanks to improve their ability to counter modern threats such as drones. The lightweight, compact radar is engineered to detect false targets, resist electronic jamming, and perform in harsh weather. Testing took place at the Spanish Army’s Armored Units Instruction Center in Zaragoza, evaluating the system’s capability to identify and track drones, projectiles, and other anti-tank threats. These trials followed earlier evaluations conducted in July 2024 at the Army’s Radio Evaluation and Experimentation Center in Guadalajara.
