The Ukrainian defense solutions company Skiftech has been given a contract by the US Department of Defense to manufacture laser-based simulation equipment for the army. The agreement is a component of the service’s plan to increase the usefulness of its current Tactical Engagement Simulation Systems (TESS), which use laser transmitters for live weapons training rather than ammunition.Skiftech and the Army Contracting Command in Orlando, Florida, will collaborate on the project until March 2035.
