The information technology company CGI UK has been given a contract by the UK Ministry of Defence to provide software that would improve military satellite operations. Under the 65-million-pound ($84-million) agreement, “Borealis,” a command, control, and data processing system, will be created to help monitor and safeguard satellites used by the British military and space agency.
