Rheinmetall has been contracted by Germany to provide training simulator systems for the Distributed Naval Training Architecture (VTAM). In order to improve the readiness and coordination of naval troops, the business will install VTAM’s hardware and software in six naval bases throughout Germany. Technical networking and training operations will be managed by the Naval Support Command’s Distributed Training Center in Wilhelmshaven, northwest Germany.
