A new facility for training soldiers for urban combat has been opened by the British Army in Scotland. The Oliver Barracks in Dundee is home to the facility, which incorporates elements that simulate a real-world urban setting to improve the military’s infantry capabilities, especially in close-quarter tactics, for both domestic and international deployments. To provide a more realistic experience during drills, the Highland Reserve Force and Cadet Association (RFCA) purchased smoke, light, and noise apparatus for the hub.
