A new joint enterprise between Poland’s WB Electronics and South Korea’s Hanwha Aerospace aims to locally manufacture guided missiles for the Homar-K rocket artillery platform in Poland. With Hanwha as majority partner, the venture will be the foundation for producing and sustaining the CGR-80 missiles, which will enhance the operational reach and responsiveness of Poland’s artillery forces.

The initiative represents both a strategic move to integrate advanced missile production within Europe and a significant economic cooperation between the two nations. The missiles, tailored for the Chunmoo MRLS employed by Poland, will serve as a lynchpin in future collective defense efforts, boosting both the industrial and operational profile of Poland’s munitions sector.
