General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) and Parry Labs have entered a strategic collaboration aimed at transforming how digital technologies are integrated into U.S. Army combat systems. The partnership will combine GDLS’s deep experience in armored vehicle development with Parry Labs’ expertise in software-defined architecture and edge computing, enabling faster, smarter, and more connected ground combat capabilities.

The two companies plan to establish a comprehensive digital engineering and software delivery ecosystem, allowing new technologies and mission systems to be fielded more quickly while minimizing costs and integration challenges. Parry Labs will contribute its AI-enabled infrastructure and modular software tools, while GDLS brings decades of proven excellence in designing and sustaining frontline combat vehicles. Their collaborative approach supports the Army’s push toward open-architecture and network-centric systems that promote rapid modernization and battlefield adaptability.

This effort will take center stage at the AUSA 2025 Expo in Washington, D.C., where both firms will showcase how digital ecosystems can revolutionize future land warfare. The partnership is a key example of how the defense sector is shifting toward data-driven modernization to deliver more agile and effective military solutions.

The alliance also mirrors broader digital integration initiatives across the U.S. armed services. The Army’s OMFV and NGCV programs, the Air Force’s ABMS, and the Navy’s Project Overmatch all share a unified goal — to connect diverse military assets through cloud-enabled, real-time data networks. By bridging platforms across air, land, and sea, these efforts aim to create a fully synchronized battlespace, empowering commanders with faster situational awareness and decision superiority.
