For its small unmanned aerial systems, Firestorm Labs has been given a $100 million contract by the US Air Force. According to the initiative, the California-based business will provide its signature drones, related support services, and research and development for a variety of uses.The Tempest 50, a platform that Firestorm presently sells and is produced using proprietary 3D printers dubbed xCell, may allow for the quick creation of drone parts at a makeshift site close to a conflict zone.
