According to reports, the US Army has chosen Textron Systems as the winner of its competition to create its first Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV). According to three program insiders who spoke to Breaking Defense, Textron’s RIPSAW 3 fared better than RCV suggestions from Oshkosh Defense, General Dynamics, and McQ. Although the Army has already contacted the successful vendor, a formal announcement is not anticipated until later.
