India’s Ministry of Defence has entered into contracts with BEML Ltd. to procure high-mobility 8×8 vehicles and military-grade trailers for the Indian Army. The 8×8 vehicles are priced at ?1.36 billion ($16 million), while the trailers are valued at ?835 million ($9.8 million). Designed for rugged terrain and operational durability, the vehicles come equipped with advanced suspension systems and powerful air-cooled engines, supporting the army’s mobility and logistics capabilities across diverse environments.
