British-Portuguese technology company Tekever has committed £400 million ($533 million) to a five-year initiative in the UK focused on advancing defense research, infrastructure, and technological innovation. Known as the Overmatch program, the initiative aims to significantly enhance the UK’s defense capabilities by accelerating developments in artificial intelligence and autonomous systems, supported by expanded advanced manufacturing efforts.
