MBDA UK has been contracted by Sweden to supply Meteor active radar-guided missiles for the JAS 39 Gripen C/D supersonic combat aircraft used by the armed forces.The Gripen, Rafale, and Eurofighter fleets of Stockholm’s military have been using the weapon since 2016.The extra warheads are expected to be delivered this year by MBDA, the company that owns the Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile (BVRAAM) system.
