In a record 84 days, Sweden and Saab designed and tested a counter-unmanned aerial system (UAS). Together with the Swedish Air Force and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, Saab introduced the “Loke,” a scalable and modular mobile c-UAS system. The complete kill chain is covered by Loke, which uses a lightweight command and control system based on the short-range air defense concept, the Giraffe 1X multi-mission radar to identify and classify drones, and the Trackfire remote weapon station to interdict targets.
