Stockholm has launched a comprehensive modernization roadmap for its CV90 fleet under a pre-design agreement with HB Utveckling AB. Valued at roughly $38 million, the program will develop upgrade packages ensuring operational viability through 2045. The initiative aligns with recent investments in armored capability expansion, including additional Patria 6×6 procurements and Leopard 2 A8 tank acquisitions. Together, these efforts strengthen Sweden’s mechanized forces and long-term ground combat readiness.
