The first stage of a program to create intelligent camouflage technologies for military vehicles and equipment has been completed by the European Defense Agency (EDA). In response to the development of surveillance technologies like visual, radar, and thermal detection, the Advanced Solutions for Camouflage of Land Systems utilizing Smart and Adaptive Materials (ASCALS) initiative was established.The 1.3-million-euro ($1.42-million) phase, which lasted almost two years, was devoted to creating materials that could adapt to changing climatic circumstances.
