Slovakia has taken a major step toward strengthening its military capabilities by approving the purchase of the Israeli-made Barak MX air defense system for 560 million euros ($583 million). Hailed as a “significant milestone” in the defense cooperation between the two countries, the pact is the largest defense export arrangement between Jerusalem and Bratislava to date.This historic agreement will improve Slovakia’s defense capabilities and further solidify the two countries’ relationship.
