Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles has secured a major order from the German Armed Forces for over 1,300 logistics vehicles, totaling nearly €770 million ($891 million). The purchase includes protected and unprotected swap-body trucks, flatbeds, and 4×4 and 8×8 UTVs.

This is part of a larger €3.5 billion framework agreement signed in July 2024, enabling the German military to order up to 6,500 vehicles over seven years. The agreement also includes a new class of 3.5-ton 4×4 vehicles.

The German military has relied on RMMV’s HX vehicle family since 2017, using them for logistics and heavy transport tasks. The latest order continues the fleet expansion and adds flexibility to Germany’s mobile logistics.

By the end of 2025, the new trucks are expected to join the roughly 7,000 HX vehicles already delivered, along with previously supplied swap-body kits and 70-ton trailers.
