The Bundeswehr has received the first cannon-based air defense vehicle, the Boxer Skyranger 30, from Rheinmetall. Over the coming months, this system—a verification model—will be trained and tested. Germany placed an order for the newly delivered verification model and eighteen other Skyranger vehicles to be produced in large quantities last year. Delivery of the 18 cars is planned for 2027–2028.
