An upgraded long-range surface-to-air missile (L-SAM) has been authorized by the Defense Acquisition and Program Administration (DAPA) of South Korea. For the development through 2028, a total of 567.7 billion South Korean won ($388 million) has been set aside.The development will involve 19 companies, including the state-run Agency for Defense Development.
