Patria, the Finnish defense company, has introduced TRACKX, a new tracked all-terrain vehicle tailored for modern combat operations. The firm describes TRACKX as its premier platform for extreme mobility, built to navigate environments that often challenge conventional military vehicles.

The vehicle is capable of handling snow-covered landscapes, dense forests, paved and unpaved roads, and even water crossings. It provides transport for 12 personnel, including its driver and commander, while incorporating NATO-standard protection measures against small-arms fire, ballistic threats, and mines — ensuring survivability in contested zones.

Weighing in at 15.5 tons (14,061 kilograms), TRACKX combines robust armor with impressive performance. It can accelerate to speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour (50 mph) on land, and thanks to its amphibious capability, it can also move through water bodies at a steady 4 kilometers per hour (2.5 mph).

Patria highlights TRACKX as a versatile and highly mobile solution for NATO and partner forces, offering a balance of protection, troop-carrying capacity, and maneuverability that makes it suitable for complex multi-domain missions.
