Thailand’s Chaiseri Defense Technologies is elevating the country’s land-combat capabilities with the introduction of the Guardian-T 8×8 armored combat vehicle, designed to integrate heavy-caliber guns and long-range guided missiles. The system represents a new generation of Thai-developed armored platforms tailored for high-intensity operations and export suitability.

The vehicle was officially showcased at the 2025 Defense and Security Expo in Bangkok, highlighting Thailand’s commitment to developing indigenous wheeled armored solutions with modular weapon stations and advanced sensor options. The Guardian-T attracted considerable attention for its flexible architecture, enabling seamless integration of multiple firepower configurations.

Built on the proven amphibious 8×8 chassis currently in service with the Royal Thai Navy Marine Corps, the Guardian-T shifts the platform’s purpose toward a more aggressive and capable medium-weight, direct-fire support vehicle. Chaiseri’s redesign enhances mobility, firepower, and protection while maintaining the platform’s renowned reliability.

With its combination of heavy-gun compatibility and missile-launch capability, the Guardian-T positions itself as a strategic asset for both domestic modernization programs and international defense buyers. The vehicle strengthens Thailand’s ambition to expand its presence in the global armored vehicle market with customizable, battlefield-ready systems.
