Latvia has concluded a procurement deal for Spike missile systems, developed by Israel and sourced via German industry.
Valued at €81 million ($92.6 million), the order includes unspecified weapons, guided munitions, and accessories.
Thirty percent of the contract value will be fulfilled by domestic Latvian firms as part of an economic uplift effort.
EuroSpike — a collaborative venture between Germany’s Rheinmetall, Diehl, and Israel’s Rafael — will oversee supply.
Latvian forces are expected to begin receiving the systems starting in 2028.
