Kongsberg has signed a €140-million agreement with Patria to deliver its Protector RS4 remote weapon stations for Germany’s and Sweden’s CAVS 6×6 vehicle fleets. The contract covers several hundred systems, with deliveries extending into the latter part of the decade. Germany’s order includes 876 vehicles, while Sweden has added 94 units to its existing fleet. The RS4 weapon station supports a wide range of armaments, including anti-tank missiles, and features a fully stabilized Detached Line of Sight architecture that enhances accuracy on the move. Designed for flexibility, the system can be installed on multiple platform types and operates effectively in both static and mobile missions.
