Safran Electronics & Defense and KNDS France have inked a framework agreement with the French defense procurement agency (DGA) to investigate robotic land platform technology. The DROIDE framework is scheduled to run for seven years, from 2030 to 2035. The usage of remotely operated vectors will increase more quickly due to capacity issues, and their missions will cover a wider range of areas, including the terrestrial domain, which poses unique challenges.
