To bolster the precision and survivability of its mobile artillery units, the Czech Republic has contracted Exail to deliver fiber-optic gyroscope-based inertial navigation systems for use in field-deployed military vehicles. The selected Advans Series INS offers proven performance under conditions where conventional GNSS navigation is either jammed, spoofed, or denied—a growing challenge across Eastern Europe.
Engineered for robust operation, these systems allow platforms to maintain accurate heading and movement data without reliance on external signals. Exail’s solution combines high-precision inertial measurements with rugged design suitable for austere battlefield conditions. The Czech military specifically required a system capable of functioning in non-permissive electromagnetic environments, and this acquisition reflects a strategic move to ensure their artillery and recon units remain fully operational even under electronic attack.
